dude that ******* awsome do you know how lucky your childs name is omg he is going to be respected because of that
YDI for marrying a man who plays God of War
Hey. Kratos is incredibly badass. Besides, there actually was a Kratos in Greek mythology. Be glad that he didn't name your child something incredibly obscure.
Kratos is a fine name. It's not too long and it's not terribly common. It also happens to be the Greek word for strength. If name as anything to do with it, that child will grow up to be strong and unique. I see no problem there. However, if you hate the name, simply mention that to your husband. I'm sure he'd understand. You two are married after all. Your child isn't named that yet so nothing is set in stone. Side note - God of War is a great game. Points to your husband for playing it. Please don't complain about things like this. Your life will be better if you learn to laugh at that type of thing. 'FML'ing this really is kind of a waste of everybody's time... No offense meant. It's just that it's not that big of a deal. You're life isn't ****** and it isn't your fault that it happened. It's not even like he named your son that. Nothing is set in stone and you two haven't even given birth to the child yet. If he does end up being named Kratos, then oh well. He will grow up loving his name because it makes him unique and he's named after an awesome Greek god. As a little boy, he'd think it was cool that he had his own video game character. Little boys usually jump at things like that. And, as an adult, it wouldn't hinder his life at all. People don't generally frown upon 'weird names'. A name is a name. And the more unique your name is, the more likely people will remember it. And if people remember your name, you're more likely to be noticed in whatever profession you choose. All in all? Not FML worthy and not a big deal.
kratos.... dont let him!! do it for the kid!!!!
ok... i don't care if u want your son named something other than kratos... although it is a cool name that i wish i had... but when you call him a "make-believe cartoon character"... you ****** up big time... 1. he is a greek god, not a character made up just for a game. 2. he is the greek god of strength. and most importantly, 3. its a VIDEO GAME not a cartoon.... no offense but you are really annoying... get your tersm right before you complain about something like that..... thats not even worth being on FML.com

i dont get the "i name one kid, you name the other" mentality. why dont you just work together to find a name you both like?
"Make-believe cartoon character"?! Whoa whoa whoa, you've gone too far, there. Besides, it's a totally cool name, you must admit.
