@those viciously attacking the "grammar/spelling nazis": Correction of grammar is a rather low level of asshole-ishness for this site's comments. Seems like a rather pathetic use of one's "righteous anger." Just sayin'.

Grammar-nazism is only asshole-ish if its purpose is to insult the other person or to brag about their own knowledge. But if the grammar nazi is decent and polite and their purpose is not to hunt down typos, but to let people know they've made a big grammar mistake which should be corrected, I don't see the harm. We shouldn't have to endure bad grammar just because some people have a hard time admitting they made a mistake. Of course, on FML it is rather useless to point out grammar errors, since comments can't be edited, so the errors can't be corrected.
