Today, my husband felt dishonoured: his darling little girl, the love of his life, whom he's always considered pure, turns out to be pregnant. He's now warned her: she's grounded and that whoever did this to her had better not come hanging round the house. Pussy, two years old, is now housebound until her kittens are born. FML

Spay your damn cat. Also, don't let it go outside. It's safer for the cat and for the local songbirds. And I'm sure your neighbors aren't too fond of the turds it's been burying in their gardens.

How do you have a cat that goes outside AND isn't spayed, and expect anything different to happen? Cats (and other pets) aren't like people- if it has a full set of female reproductive organs and access to males, it's going to get pregnant. If you don't remove one of those factors, you get unwanted kittens and you only have yourself to blame.
