Today, my husband of 5 months admitted he is jealous of my dog. I've had the dog for 16 years. He admits to wanting to drop it off at the shelter while I'm at work. FML

That’s totally not a red flag at all... Put that mutt in a shelter and keep your dog. The dogs been in your life longer.

I mean dogs can really ruin a relationship. I absolutely hate my fiancés dog. I try to get him to rehome him all the time. I am not a dog person never in my life did I ever want a dog and im stuck taking care of the ****** more than he does. The dog sits in a cage all day. I wanted to call the aspca on the dog myself. I understand it would be torture on my fiancé but honestly this is bullshit.

Then leave the relationship. If you're not a dog person, why the **** did you get with one? If you regime the dog, he WILL find out. Then your relationship is toast (sounds like it already is, though). Seriously, if it's that damn bothersome that your partner has a dog, just leave. If my partner ever got rid of my pet without a safety reason, I'd knock him out before kicking him to the curb.
