Today, my lawyer threatened to sue me because I can't afford his bill, which he sent to me after getting me out of a lawsuit. FML

That's what I love about my home state of Colorado. If someone sues you, and the judge or jury rules in your favor, than the plaintiff is required to pay your legal fees. If it were me, I would counter sue for the legal fees of the first lawsuit and and the counter-suit. I hate people who are totally sue-happy. Most lawsuits are complete bullshit, in my opinion.

Put on your big boy pants and pay your bills. By saying you "got out" of a lawsuit, to me that implies you were at fault and this lawyer was able to find a way (probably a technicality) to win your case. Stop being a tool and expecting everything to be handed to you on a silver platter. The lawyer did what you *hired* them to do. What a whiny little boy. Who did you expect (there's that word again) was going to pay? Shut up and pay up!
