Today, my math teacher brought his laptop to tally up all our scores for our report card. He then displayed the results on a big screen in front of the whole class. The ones who failed were marked yellow. I was the only one marked yellow. FML

I simply don't understand why there would be laws preventing teachers from posting grades. If you earn your grade (whether it's an A+ or an F) you should be expected for others to see it. We are totally failing as a society.

Because your grades are no ones business, it's under the privacy act!

That's illegal! It's covered by privacy laws!

OP is in the Philippines. They might have different teaching or disciplinary methods there.

I agree with 60 we would survive without math but we wouldnt be as advanced technology wise... But then there would be no global warming so maybe math should be banished! Lmao no im just being an ass.

Well, if you're having issues in all of your classes it's a problem. I have a learning disability in math, but I've gone to college and i'm working on my graduate degree right now (in English I might add..and no not to be a teacher..). My math teachers always understood I was putting forth effort (I went to tutoring every possible second I could) but I would never do well. Anyway..my point is that failing grades are not the end of the world, but like a previous poster pointed out that it may be you if you're the only one failing.
