Today, my maths teacher was giving my whole class a lecture on 'if you don't pay attention at school, you will fail.' She then pointed out out a man working on the roof and said: 'if you don't listen, you will end up like that guy.' That was my dad. FML

If everyone wanted a high place job, we would be living in trash without new houses being build and everything that broke couldn't be repaired or replaced. Besides what if your dad really wanted that job and is happy with it? If some people want to be plumbers or roofworkers, let them be. Such ignorant teachers

Nah, we would advance so fast with everyone being so smart we'd have robots. You don't need people to do labour work if you have robots. Still it's a point where the Nazi's were right isnt it, blood and soil. Builders, farmers, and these people are the foundations of countries.

IMHO this is just sheer rudeness from you teacher and she should really ask herself if what she says is acceptable from a pedagogical point of view. It is a disgrace to talk bad about people who actually do have a job, who work hard to earn money for themselves and their families compared to those who just sit at home and get money from the state to survive.
