Today, my minivan broke down on the side of the highway. I'm out of work and can't afford a cell phone, so I resorted to standing at the back of my van holding a "HELP" sign. About an hour went by, in which time I was passed by a cop car, a firetruck, and a car that said "Roadside Assistance." FML

If you want a cop to stop you should write "Free Donuts".

#99 You are so ignorant. In some places, it's a law that they only pull over in pairs just in case. They can't help someone who's only broke down and risk getting held up at gunpoint, their car hijacked, etc. You should just thank God they're willing to risk their life to protect your sorry one.

Assholes I say but slight chance some of them didn't see ya but usually the Cops are nosy...

Wow...you can't afford a cellphone but somehow have the means to get on the INTERNET and FML this? Get rid of the crappy van, ur internet, and buy a decent phone with internet on it...WIN

what was wrong with walking to the next exit to use a phone and call for help?

111- Maybe the next exit was a good 20 miles away. You never know.
