Well, you see , if it was a serious problem then I doubt they would have said 'mine sucks'. If there was a problem, imagine, would you really say 'my mum sucks'? No. It's an assumption, yes, but an educated assumption. Sure, we could be wrong, but from what's there it's safer to assume that they don't mean it seriously.

You can't even make an educated assumption like that. If a person doesn't want to get into it (either on here or in a face to face conversation), they can be as vague as they wish. My mother did horrible things, and for the most part either I say she was a bitch or she sucks.

My boyfriends mom told him that he was the biggest mistake of her life and that she should have had the abortion that everyone wanted when she was wasted. The fact that they're drunk doesn't make what they do/say hurt any less.

I agree she's an adult and they need to start taking responsibility for their actions, there's never and excuse for not taking care of your children.

Parents are parents, they need to be responsible. Yes, my parents drink in front of me, but they have never gotten drunk in front of me. They know when to stop; it's just not right when a parent gets drunk in front of their child. They can say something they don't mean, but it's not gonna take the pain away. When their excuse is , "I was drunk," it makes it worse.

They say alcohol is the drug of truth. Parents are still people, they have issues and **** stuff up, some more than others. The difference is whether they have your best interests at heart.
