An abusive boyfriend/girlfriend wouldn't come anywhere near my kid. I wouldn't be okay with anyone hurting them. If Ops mom knows then she's a terrible mother. If not then YDI for not telling her. She can't know that he doesn't need to be around if you don't say anything.

Did your mother know? If so, ask her what is going on in her mind, and probably get some help from another source, since she clearly isn't the right adress. If not, go and tell her, and better be quick
