What else would they have expected? That's horrible for you OP, I'm sorry for your loss.
I would have walked away from them and gone outside or something so that I could cry in public alone. My dogs are my babies, I would be devastated.
Walmart *shudders*
if you were close to your dog, of course you would cry. I know I would.
Fur babies can become more like family than actual family members! Sounds like this may be true for you! Sorry for the loss. :-(

I'm sorry you lost your dog, OP. I recently lost my pit bull too and losing a pet you love never gets easy. They're heartless for giving you attitude about what you're feeling. Think of all the good times you shared and that your dog was very loved by you.
That was so insensitive. Sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry about your dog...crying in public is perfectly alright; there are people who do it on a regular basis, for goodness sake. You just lost one of your best friends, I mean, c'mon. :( That's some insensitive family you have...sorry, OP. Perhaps you could get a puppy to fill the void a bit, after a little while? :D
sounds like my family.. I'm sorry OP. I know it sucks :/
