Today, I saw my boyfriend for the first time in a while. When he came over we realized that we had not only gotten the same haircut, but we were also wearing the same sweater. We are a matching old couple at 17. FML

Why is this an FML? It's kinda funny, but not terrible.

That's adorable. My boyfriend and I actually bought the same shirts from Threadless on accident. It doesn't mean much though. It just means you have the same/similar tastes. However, sweaters are a tad bit different than matching shirts, and haircuts can be subjective.

noo... the fml is that either she is wearing mens clothes with mens haircut, or her boyfriend has a girl sweater and girl haircut. Am I right?

I think that's right otherwise this fml is lame

maybe op is really a boy...

He had a pink sweater and a mullet? That would be a great look

why the **** would you get a haircut that a man/woman could also have?

Hah, this definitely isn't an FML but the last line made me giggle. Look at it this way: you won't need to splurge on separate wardrobes.

you're right, it isn't an FML at all, it belongs in MLIA.

it could be true. a guy in one of my classes has longer hair then my girlfriend

I don't really think it's an FML, per se. Those old p- oh wait, sorry... fyl

@25 not necessarily true. occasionally when i shop a&f, I'll pick up a sweater that's found on the men's side. I like that they are a little bigger so they are more comfortable to exercise in and sleep in when we're camping. I only own a few but sometimes you find a guy or two with the same one. And there's a lot of women that like shorter hair cuts. Which would explain the OP's dilemma.

fml? get a new haircut, go change and stfu

or maybe they're gay. which wouldn't even make this an FML

haicuts is weird cause you guys are different sexes as in male or female , but I wouldn't say sweaters were that bad, although it has never happened to me

Sweaters are fairly unisex. Or maybe I just hang around too many cross-dressers.

/agreed. it's not that bad ^^ no FML here

super gay.... I don't get the fml but maybe MLIG "My life is gay" literally. different app

wait are you a guy too? cuz that would explain so much..

They're female. I'm thinking the OP has a shorter, yet remotely feminine haircut, which, unintentionally mimics her boyfriend's hair. A lot of boys I know these days have longer hair that almost goes to their shoulders. There could've also been a sweater sale at some store and it's unisex enough that they both bought it. It is that time of year where winter clothing goes on sale. Spring is only eighteen days away!

well I think her boyfriend is a fag

namhowell 6

Takes one to know one! I'm gay and definitely not a fag! You, however, are definitely a fag, arrogant prick!

@27 What is the distinction between the two? (honest question)

xundria 5

@49: In today's society, a "fag" is generally someone who is overly feminine whereas a gay person isn't always that way. But most homophobic people will call all gays "fags" because they are ignorant pricks anyways.

Me and my little brother have the same haircut, unintentionally, and while my hair is a bit longer, it's still clear to see it's the same haircut when we walk together. We also happen to buy clothes at the same store which has a lot of unisex clothes so we often have matching clothes as well. So it's not that unlikely no.

More of an MLIA than an FML, correct?
