Today, my mother forwarded me an email my stepdad had sent her because he was annoyed that I left a light on last night. Talk about communication problems. I wonder how I'm going to tell them I'm pregnant. FML

Yes, but presumably if you were pregnant you wouldn't worry too much about your parents' reactions. If the op is at an age where her stepdad can tell her off for leaving a light on, it is reasonable to assume she should possibly not be getting laid.

..are you serious? Who the hell HASN'T forgotten something small at some point in their life. It doesn't mean she's not responsible :S children are a lot more important, and therefore easier to remember, than one silly light that she forgot to turn off one time.
