Stop whining about your "disease" and don't drink so much.
What disease? And it clearly says OP is a recovering alcoholic, so I don't think she drinks anymore.
why dont you break the bottle on her head on her next bday :)
You should make a collection of the bottles to show it to her and sticking it up her ass for being such an asshole. Show her that you are strong enough to not give up your rehabilitation!
Next year as she hands you the bottle ask her to bend over so that you can shove it up her ass! This way you achieve two things 1. you make a point. 2. maybe if she gets some action she won't be such a bitter asshole! Congrats on staying strong with the sobriety and the not punching her in the face!!
Hopefully one of these birthdays someone gets you a pair of balls to stand up for yourself and tell your in-law she's a bitch.
Bitch
Her actions make no sense to me. If she's trying to get you to slip up, she's actually bringing harm to her son. Even if you aren't violent as a drunk, alcoholism is a serious matter, and if you revert it could seriously hurt you and your husband. You should really talk to your husband about this and make sure he and his mother know that this is not ok.

why dont you give it back to her on her birthday?
Open it while it's pointed at her face.
