Today, I was grounded for not agreeing with an article on dating my mom found in a very strict magazine. The article told parents to monitor phone calls, make rumors about their children cheating on people and not allow their children anywhere but home. FML

Today, my mother asked me if my boyfriend and I were getting serious. I quickly lied and said no. She then informed me that if things ever heated up, she would take me to get birth control. Wanting birth control, I confessed. In turn she grounded me. I'm not allowed to see my boyfriend anymore. FML

whoa. what the hell. there are so many things that are wrong with this. 1. your mother in law grounding you. what's up with that? you're like not 17 and under anymore.you can do whatever the **** you please to. 2. She grounded you over the 'dangerous rain' uhm..well than, okay. if she wants to be completley abnormal, her choice I guess. 3. your husband. Wtf. he can't freak over something as obnoxious as that.
