Today, my mother still refuses to acknowledge my son as her grandson, all because I had a C-section, which she says is unnatural and against God's will. I only had the C-section in the first place for health reasons. FML

How dare you be careful with your own life?! That's not gods will! In all seriousness though, do you really want a crazy, over-zealously religious woman like that be near your son? Be thankful, maybe?

Oh tell her to f off... maybe God invented c sections to make sure more of his people could be born with less issues

She seems like she might be a fan of the 1600's where everyone lived to the ripe old age of died in childbirth. in all seriousness though, there are documented cases of c-sections dating all the way back to when Jesus walked the Earth and I've never read any religious text, Christian or otherwise, that says c-sections are against any god's will. If anyone has read something along those lines I'd love to know because I'd also love to know who would think God would rather a child grow up without a mother because she died in childbirth when a c-section could of saved her. my child's head and shoulders were too big (she was over 8 pounds and it was my first and only child) and the doctor flat out told me that if I didn't have a c-section that they would probably break my babies collar bone to get her to fit through. If doing so pissed off God then I'll face him during Judgement, but if it meant that my baby wouldn't have to have her first sensation of the real world be a broken bone, then I'd do it over a thousand times, and never change my choice.

My wife and son are both alive, only because a c-section was done. Ignore that ignorance and live your life. You don't need her.

She needs to check her history. Children were born by c-section even in biblical times. Hence the name - Caesarian section. Some people just can't figure it out.
