I'm sorry, but you deserve it since you didn't upload them....WHY WOULDN'T YOU UPLOAD THEM!!!!
She never said she didn't back them up.
I don't understand people who take hundreds of pictures on their digital camera and wait months to upload them instead of doing it right away.
Tell your sister that her mom deleted all her wedding photos so she could take pictures of the cat. That should get you a sense of revenge without having to do something bad to her and get a destructive cycle going. Also, upload your pictures. Rookie mistake i'll forgive because you still live with your mom i'm speculating must be young enough to actually BE a rookie. Here's some life tips for similar types of mistakes to save you from potential future FMLs: - Save your work every ten minutes. - Backup on a second machine. - E-mail yourself a copy of it. - Print out a copy as soon as you've finished, don't put it off until the morning. - Keep your backups updated.
And that's when you delete the pictures of Katie. Yeah it's mean but, she can always retake the pictures of her cat. You can't go back in time and retake the wedding and graduation pictures.
your mothers holding a party for a cat? FHerL
Yes, you should have backed them up, but really now... a 2GB SD card can hold thousands of pictures.
WTF.....I have no problem with celebrating a pet's birthday/adoption day/whatever, but why the **** do you need to erase a whole memory card to take pictures? I'd probably just take a picture of how my pet looks now compared to when I adopted it, and maybe one of it enjoying whatever new toy I give it, and that is that.

They are recoverable so long as she hasn't taken the pictures of "Katie" yet. Swap out the memory card for a new one and hold onto the memory card with the deleted pictures in them. Then find a Computer Tech who can recover deleted data from computers, flash drives, and memory cards. It won't be cheap ... but you could always send your mother the bill once you recover them.
What a bitch. But you should back your pictures up really.
