Today, my neighbours came to yell at me as they could hear my "shit music" through my window during the afternoon, so I turned it off. They then began to play their definition of "quality music" into the late hours of the night. I was listening to the Beatles. They blasted Nicki Minaj. FML

Today, I finally got tired of my neighbors constantly blaring their obnoxious rap music all hours of the day and night. Trying to be funny, I put Baby Shark on a loop and turned my speakers all the way up. They called the cops on me. FML

Today, I'm exhausted. My neighbours across the street had an argument about loud metal music. After a threat of, "Turn the heavy metal off or I’ll burn your house down," the music changed to Katy Perry’s "Firebird". For two hours. FML

Today, I finally had some alone time to relax and watch a movie. As soon as I pressed play, my neighbor started blasting their music so loud I could feel the bass in my chest. I tried calling the landlord, but they didn't answer. I ended up watching the movie with subtitles while listening to my neighbor's music. FML

Today, to make my dorm neighbours think I'm popular, I blasted music and screamed at the top of my lungs so it sounded like I was having a party. My residence manager slapped me with a noise violation, and demanded to come in to make sure we weren't drinking. I had to explain why I was by myself. FML

Today, I've suffered 3 months of my neighbor blasting his music so loud, it shakes my apartment floor. None of my noise complaints are ever followed up, but the moment I give him a piece of my mind, he calls the cops, and they threaten me with jail time over a few curse words. FML

And that is when you look up the sound ordinance laws in your area and if it is after whatever time, you just call the cops and make a noise complaint. Might sound petty, but after night after night of my neighbor blasting his shitty subs and horrid music at odd hours of the night, I can say that noise complaints CAN nip that shit in the butt real quick. I have not heard that horrible excuse of a sound system in about a month :)

Lol the Beatles suck compared to Minaj? Please, this generation of fake music blows. Whatever happened to real talent where the people were up on stage with actual instruments instead of using computers to do their music, long story short, 1964 (when the first Beatles album came out) - 1992 (when metal hit a rapid decline) were the better years for music

This FML is crap! How many Nicki Minaj FMLs will I read on this damn app? Mom Listens to Minaj on road trip to Wisconsin for spring break. Parent worried that daughter will choose Nicki Minaji for funeral. Please, FML is fake. FYI I think both the Beatles and Nicki Minaj suck.
