Today, my niece stole a bottle of whiskey from me to mix with Monster and get drunk with her boyfriend. It was a bottle of 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle's that cost over $2000. FML

Today, I let my nephew and his friend spend the night to watch movies. After I fell asleep, they stole my liquor and went roaming. When they saw the cop car in front of my house and realized they were busted, they went up to the cop and told them I gave them the alcohol to avoid being grounded. FML

Today, I'm cat sitting for some friends. Their whiskey selection is well curated and top notch. I grabbed a bottle that I thought was the cheapest, I ended getting drunk on a $500 bottle. I’m going to have to fill it with a lesser brand. FML

Today, my 11-year-old cousin walked up to me as I was enjoying a glass of wine with friends at my mother's birthday party. Thinking she wouldn't like it anyway, I let her try. Today, my son tried my year great-grandad's 90 year-old whiskey, didn’t like it, and poured it all down the sink. When I confronted him, he confidently told me it was nasty and must have expired, so he did me a favour and poured it away and washed the bottle. I had to walk away and remind myself I love him. FML

there was an fml a while back about a kid, a nephew or son i think, who stole the guy's 100 year old bottle of alcohol that was bottled by his grandfather in sweden for a party and mixed it with coke, and it made me just as sad as this post did. i'm not much of a drinker, and when i do drink, it's mostly wine coolers, but to have something that's yours and worth a lot to you, monetarily or sentimentally, stolen and then not appreciated at all, that just makes me mad for you. i genuinely hope she's appropriately punished for what she did, and she'd better get a job babysitting or something until she can pay you back.

Actually, the imgur user has claimed responsibility for posting this FML. The follow-up post did seem far-fetched but we all know that stranger things have happened. Maybe we should hire a detective just to be safe.
