Today, I tried to make my mom feel better about me leaving for camp for 2 weeks by saying I wish she would come too. She took me seriously and called the camp and is now a camp counselor there. The only problem is I lied about going to the camp, and I'm really going to my boyfriend's lake house. FML

Today, the summer camp I work at had its annual scavenger hunt, wherein the counselors hide and the kids look for us. It was my first year there, so some of my colleagues showed me the "best hiding spot." Two hours later, still undiscovered, I realized they just wanted to get rid of me. FML

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in '07 It caused me to gain a bunch of weight. butttt I got my surgery, gym membership and worked my ass off to lose weight. and I did. point being, SOMETIMES you can't help what happens but you can ALWAYS do something about it. try getting a membership. if not, YDI for not caring about yourself,
