30 and at home....much deserved lol
#20 and #27 have it right
............move out
has anyone considered that his parents could be elderly and moved in with the 30-year-old rather than going to a nursing home? just saying.
If this guy is in a financial spot where he has to live with his parents for a while, that doesn't take away his rights as an adult. He shouldn't do things that disturb his parents' lives, like making enough noise to wake them up at 1 a.m., but his having to live with his parents shouldn't prevent him from living a normal adult life otherwise. At this point his parents have authority only over what happens in their home, not over his life in general as they would if he were a minor. This is a legitimate FML. And frankly, a lot of people in their 20s-early 30s have such hefty student loans that it makes financial sense to stay with their parents for a couple of years so they can pay off a lot of debt quickly. I'm 25, in university part-time, and I may end up doing just that after I graduate--and go into my thirties without tens of thousands of dollars of student loan debt crippling any effort to start a family.
dude get ur own place to stay.UR 30 YEARS OLD!!
If you're living with your parents, you're still 16, no matter how old you are.
that sucks. i'm assuming that since you're 30 and living at home, it's out of necessity/you don't have a choice to leave. hope they relax after this.

Why are you still living with your parents? You live under their roof, you follow their rules.
Living with your parents at 30? yeah definitely FYL.
