Today, my psycho ex-girlfriend, who's already made two threats against my life, informed me that she now has a concealed carry permit. FML

Tips for survival: 1. Buy bulletproof vest 2. File Restraining Order 3. Get a concealed carry permit 4. Survive

Restraining order. Make it known she has a weapon permit so people know if you end up shot then they know who it is. Keep all messages from her that contain threats. And maybe get your own weapon and let her know.

Inform the licensing place about this. I don't know how it works in the US, but in Canada if you have an ex and they claim their concerns about something like this then their permit is revoked. Also allow the cops to know, try and get a restraining order on her, and allow your family to know if something happens to you to have the cops investigate her.

She can carry a gun now...but she can't kill you for any reason...still you could get one yourself...

File a restraining order citing her threats against you & that she has informed you of her permit...hopefully the police will go & revoke/confiscate her permit & gun if she has one & inform all the nearby gun shops not to sell to her

Also, this is why I'm against concealed carry permits...I think that they should only issue open carry permits...require psych evals on top of the back ground checks normally associated with fire arm purchases

Screw a restraning order, change your name and move outta the country. FYL OP

Restraining order is needed and you need to get you carting license as well. Don't go down without a fight

If you go to the cops and tell them about the death threats she has made and that she informed you she now has a concealed carry permit then she will get put in jail and will never be able to have a concealed carry permit or a fire arm for the rest of her life

In all likelihood, jail time wouldn't happen...but her permit, if not her gun as well, would be void & she would be denied any future attempts to obtain one, and would be flagged during the background check done should she ever try to purchase an additional or replacement firearm
