so... can just about anybody get a gun permit? I would think documented cases of you making threats against someone's life should immediately disqualify you from getting such a permit...

Anyone can apply for a concealed carry permit but after you apply you have to pass a background check. If there is nothing documented about her making threats it won't show up on the background check.

I know, 60. I never argued with it; I only said it was bullshit because a lot of times even when they can prove the threats are legit, they still don't act. Sometimes it's too late when they do.

That and if you're a guy reporting a woman the cops will laugh at you. Both times I tried to report my crazy ass ex for pulling a knife on me they just shrugged me off. It wasn't until I ended up in the hospital getting stitches on my forearms that they did any ******* thing.

And that's what is wrong with cops. When it's a woman reporting a man that usually doing something then, but when it's a guy reporting a woman sometimes it's far too late before cops decide to do anything.
