Hey update for everyone: I decided "surprise" my mother and sister by inviting my new boyfriend over for dinner but didnt say who it was. When he came through the door and I introduced him as my boyfriend they stared shocked at me realizing that they had put their feet in their mouths. And just to add a little more salt to their wounds, I kissed him, smiled sweetly at him and asked my sister and mother "So, what do you think of him again? Im sure he would like to know if you approve." Needless to say they got the hint that not only do I not have low self esteem but I am VERY PROUD to be his girlfriend lol btw they havent talked crap about him since!

Well...do you have self esteem issues? and #9 is spot on!
#9 Parents arent always right i hac been let down millions of times!!!!!!! I dont know why you kept the relationship secret!!!
Maybe she did recognize you and she dislikes the guy, so instead of confronting you, she just mentioned that. And your mom, well, you just don't share the same taste in guys, but that's good. :)
Its not all about looks in a relationship. The guy could be really sweet and nice. So your mum and sister are being shallow bitches.
"get a hotter boyfriend" ?? u guys serious? that's more ****** than what her sister and mom said. come on dude. i agree with #7 and #18! who cares if they don't think your boy is "hot"... THEY aren't dating him! besides, do you want to choose your boyfriends only by what others think of his face? do you want to be happy, or shallow? i say you shoulda stuck up for yourself! or bring him over sometime just to see their reactions!
maybe your sister was just covering your ass by not saying anything about you... otherwise, that really sucks
