Your kid is awesome and you are a great parent
Leave him be. He's fine, as long as he doesn't start biting random people on the neck.
Hrm, this has YDI all over it. Either he's an adult and can do whatever he pleases, because adults are their own people and not just a means of representing their sires for good or ill; OR, he's not an adult and you (or another guardian) should have gone with him when he went to get permanent dental work done.
Sorry guys, but you can't blame this one on Twilight - those vampires didn't even have fangs!
True. Edward sparkled like a fairy princess bitch.
that's awesome. the fangs that is
no one will judge him. i have naturally pointy canines, they just make my smile cute ;)
I'm assuming he's a legal adult as you weren't consulted by the dentist...so...shrug and go on. It's something he'll have to pay to change later when it costs him job opportunities. Or, it might be a total non-issue. Let him learn on his own. You got him to adulthood so you won anyways!

If you're first reaction is the fear of being judged by others (instead of finding out if he's really cool with this or if there's a reason for why he feels the need to undergo such a permanent change), then maybe you aren't the best parent around.
If he's an adult it's his choice.... Get over it
