Today, my son told me he lost the envelope with all the money he earned selling Cub Scout popcorn. The popcorn was delivered already, and the money needs to be turned in to the pack leader tonight. I just spent $220 on popcorn my neighbors are eating. FML

Why haven't YOU been keeping up with the money FOR your Cub Scout-aged son?

YDI for having a child with your cousin. Now you know why it's illegal... retarded children.

Cub Scouts are really little kids right? If he is like 10 or younger you should have been keeping tabs on the money all the time. If he is older like middle school aged just make him do chores untill he works off the money you had to pay, thats what my parents would have done to me.

You left a little kid in charge of the money? And to those who have said "they're trying to teach him responsibility," they should start out with a goldfish. Not an envelope full of other people's money. YDI.

lol this happened to me wen i was younger...i did the same exact thing to my poor mom. she had to pay for all the neighbors' chocolate >.

Fail. You shouldn't have let it happen. I bet he stole it, actually- decided to keep it himself 'cause he knew you'd pay for it... and then he has tons of moneyy. It happens.

You believed him? I wonder what he spent the money on?

you definately deserved it, for annoying your neighbors with dumb sales. For all the people saying to make the kid get a job...what companies are hiring 8 year olds these days? I certainly hope you arent expecting the same neighbors that bought popcorn to pay for an 8 years to do half assed jobs raking their leaves

YDI 1.for trusting your kid with the money. 2.for having your kid being a cub scout trust me your waisting your time and money.
