Today, my teenage daughter tried to convince me that the UK is a part of Canada. After I pulled out a map to prove her wrong, she got all angry and defensive, and said that nobody's perfect at "geometry". My daughter is an idiot. FML

Idiots are not exclusive to America.

Her intelligence in this situation really depends on her age which you did not mention.

"My teenage daughter," so it can be assumed she is more than old enough to know those things.

This is why teachers dispair. Ever thought of perhaps having a world globe/world map on display at home or (gasp) teaching her basic world layout at home? Oh and stop calling your kid an idiot! Parent Of The Year? No.

Maybe she was just having a blonde moment? I do stuff like that all the time.

And The Award For Unnecessary Capitalization And Rude Stereotyping Goes To ... Seriously, you don't need to show us that you know where the caps lock key is. Also, the 'blondes are stupid' stereotype is one of the dumbest, non-racial stereotypes there is. Guess who's at the top of my entire grade, probably going to be our valedictorian, speaks Latin, takes all possible AP classes, has photographic memory, is the captain of the debate team, and takes a math class 2 years ahead in my school? A blonde girl.

It's a racial stereotype without mentioning race.

#43- Haha, thank you for defending us blondes with a kick-ass comment. :)

@43 ; You Honestly Seem Very Desperate To Make Fun Of My Capitalization. I Just Prefer The Way It Looks.. . And I Get That What I Said Was Rude. No Need For An Essay "Exaggeration"

I have no comment on this. I am speechless.

You realize parents have a part in their child's education too, right? It's not all on the teachers.

She may be an idiot but you are too due to bad parenting.
