Today, my visiting cousin was driving me to pick-up and pay for my wedding cake at the bakery. The cops pulled him over for speeding and as it turns out his license was expired. I ended up having to use my wedding cake money to bail him out of jail. FML

Why would you bail him out? It was his fault, and that money should be important. Let someone else bail him out, or let him worry about his problems on his own.

He could have sat in jail. Its YOUR wedding cake! He obviously had enough offenses if he got thrown in the slammer, he deserved it!

omg, that's horrible, and I was gonna say the same stuff a lotta folks already said, that's too nice of you, its his own fault, and you should have let him sit in jail, while you go ahead and use your money the way you intend to, absolutely no use for you to save his ass for something stupid he did to any inconvenience to you hun

Yeah my fiance got pulled over and was driving on a suspended and they arrested him. So it's not complete bull.

Expired is totally different from suspended. Here there is an extra $10 processing charge to renew your license if it expired more than two months ago.

Um, you didn't *have* to bail him out. His being in jail was his fault, not yours, and you don't have to cover for him. YDI.

YDI for bailing him out. If it was your wedding I am sure there were plenty of other family members in town that could have bailed him out.

You shouldn'tt have bailed him out. Since you did, it's your own fault.

I think you would bail your own family out of jail if it happened to come about. Shut up.
