I find it hard to believe that in all the time of dating, being engaged, and being married to your wife that THIS was your first indication that she doesn't like people picking off your plate. Even if in the unlikely event it is, you didn't ask first. YDI.

Ouch! It is NEVER okay to stab someone with a fork over something that stupid, especially if she's your wife! My fiancé and I steal food from each others' plates all the time. We'll jokingly act mad, sure, but it's no big deal. I don't mind sharing with him and vice-versa, hope your hand feels better OP!!
