Today, my wife threw a piece of tofu cake at my head for suggesting that the money she'd spent on magic "healing" crystals and homeopathic "remedies" would've just as well been spent on a chocolate teapot. FML

Homeopathic remedies work alot of the time. Homeopathic medicine involves using herbs and is usually dealt out by qualified doctor or an experienced herbalist. I don't think you have to be a hippy or Wiccan to enjoy the uses; but since they are more in tune to nature and earth, probably use them alot. Sorry, she have smacked you with something else(harder) for making a wise ass remark like that. ya gotta admire her, she knows how to throw a hussy fit! Try again?

If you knew how homeopathic substances are made you'd know they are not effective. The amount of dilution that is done means its unlikely for any significant amount of the original active ingredient is left. Scientific studies have shown its no more effective than a placebo - meaning any affect is simply due to the placebo effect of the user believing it will help. And no, this isn't my opinion. It's scientific fact. Start by reading ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1874503/?tool=pmcentrez and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeopathy and avoid sounding like an idiot in the future.

I'd say you'd probably deserved it for marrying one of those homeopathy nutjobs.

I eat tofu every meal but I've never heard of a tofu cake.......or any of that other stuff.

Okay homeopathic remedies work, but magic crystals I understand

This might be the strangest FML I've ever read...

Sounds delicious!! But useless. I'm talking about the crystals, who'd buy a chocolate teapot?

You're choice in women obviously is lacking some serious judgement consideration.

Maybe you shouldn't disrespect your wife's beliefs?

That's what I was thinking... He had to see that side of her coming.
