You can use "Find My iPhone" to lock your phone and make the user enter a password to use it, or wipe it altogether.

Sounds like (aside from not being a very good friend) your friend is flat-out immature. Unfortunately, your probably no better (since you hang out with him/her) & equally as immature. Your boss probably knew there was something wrong with you all along & will use this as a blessing in disguise to get rid of you.
