I think you needed to use more periods in that post. Reading it made my head hurt.

This isn't about the cost and effort of him driving you. Therapy changes people, and often it changes someone into a person that his or her SO, parents, or other important people don't like. I suspect that therapy is changing you for the better and your dad doesn't like, or can't cope with, who you're becoming. You didn't share why you're in therapy but, for example, if part of your problem is an inability to assert yourself, or parents who don't respect your boundaries, or your parents have some kind of weird little intrigue going on and you're their codependent in whatever it is, and you're getting better about that stuff, it's easy to see why your dad might want you to discontinue therapy.
