Today, the girl I like called me and said she liked me. After I told her I liked her too, she didn't say anything. Thinking the call was a joke, I started screaming at her and calling her a slut. Turns out it wasn't a joke, she had just hit mute on her phone by accident. FML

Smooth. She dodged a bullet then. Seems you'd fly off the handle over every other little thing in your relationship. The mute button incident was a blessing in disguise for her.

Another possible situation: Maybe her mum walked in and asked something and that's why she put the phone down for a second? You're probably one of these guys who freak out and make a scene when you see her with another guy at a restaurant, although it might just be her cousin. Guess she now knows she's better off with someone else.
