Today, this guy and I went on a date to the movies. We got up to the desk and I asked for one ticket for 'Jennifer's Body.' The guy moved his way in front of me and said, "make that two tickets." He then walked away to look at movie posters and left me with the $22.50 charge. FML

the real problem is you actually paid to see jennifers body

And you paid? Why would you pay? Tell them "No. I just want one ticket." Don't take that shit, damn it.

Look at the bright side. For the small price of $20, you found out what a cheap bastard he is.

Should have decided who was paying for what before he got there. But if you'd already decided on going dutch, THEN he dumped the entire tab on you, that would be an FML. Make him pay you back, or at least pay for the snacks. And don't set up a second date with this ass.

FYL. Did you confront him? If not, grow a pair.

I basically would've told him to go to hell and just tell the cashier that you're only getting one ticket. That guy is a dick.

why would you go to see Jennifer's Body on what sounds like one of the first couple dates you have with this guy? I promise you, he wasn't paying attention to you, and was only thinking about Megan Fox naked

I would have said "never mind no tickets thanks" and walked out on that douche. If a guy OR a girl wants to pay for both people on the date thats one thing but to just assume on the 1st date is rude. I can't even believe u actually paid for him!

Why is everyone making this a sexist thing? She didn't expect him to pay, she was pating for her own ticket. He was extremely rude not only expecting her to pay, but by not even saying anything to her about it and just telling the person in box office to add an extra ticket.

So you're saying it was okay for him to act like he did? He was unbelievably rude. I'm not saying it's expected of the guy to pay for everything, but it also wasn't right to force her to pay for him without even asking.

I'd really want to question how he FORCED her? She could easily just restated that she wanted one, told him otherwise or simply left. This is a YDI, she actually accepted having to pay for both tickets and then continued to be on a date with this guy? If she's that spineless to not leave at that point, then it's just pathetic.

Sorry, but I did not say "dump him". I simply said it was rude of him to act the way he did. And White667, that is true. She could have stood her ground and refused to pay. But reading the post it seemed to me that he gave her very little chance to even confront him by walking away. Though had it been me, I probably would have given him the two tickets and told him to find a new date.

So, I'm guessing he didn't get any tickets to see "Nikki's Body", huh?

Complete win, good sir. Complete and utter win.

So you went from dating Dutch to dating a douche. NO SEX FOR HIM!
