Today, this guy and I went on a date to the movies. We got up to the desk and I asked for one ticket for 'Jennifer's Body.' The guy moved his way in front of me and said, "make that two tickets." He then walked away to look at movie posters and left me with the $22.50 charge. FML

the real problem is you actually paid to see jennifers body

And you paid? Why would you pay? Tell them "No. I just want one ticket." Don't take that shit, damn it.

LMFAO YOU DESERVE IT IF YOU DID. WHAT KIND OF LOSER ARE YOU? You COULD have just said, "NO, I'm only paying for one."

Why would you pay to see Megan fox? She's one of the biggests ***** I've ever seen(and for the people who say she's pretty.....bullshit-she's just the product of good surgury-she's all fake). FYL for having that guy act like that YDI for wanting to see Megan fox

You can have your opinion, but you don't have to be so rude about it... Megan Fox is hot, fake or not Haha

YDI for not cutting in fast and saying that guy was joking.

YDI, and i bet you didnt even blow him during the movie either. what a rude bitch, i'd never go to the movies with you. with all due respect, women whould ALWAYS buy the tickets.

Yea, I see how it is. Guys have to pay for everything on most dates, suddenly a woman has to pay for something and the whole world is gonna come to an end. This is why men can't respect feminists, you expect equality, and then demand special treatment.

What does this have to do with feminists? When my fiance and I started dating I paid for a lot of our dates, and never expected him to pay for anything. Later on in the relationship traded off, every other date one of us would pay. And get this...I'm a feminist. Crazy how that works. And I never complained once nor expected "special treatment." What I expected was for him to treat me with respect, which is what the guy in the post did not do for the OP, which is the issue. This is why I can't respect you, or people like you. Don't bash a whole group of people because some girls always expect guys to pay, and I doubt most of those girls claim to be feminists.

Ahem, thats quite a presumption you make their little boy. For all you know, the man asked her out on the date, or they had an agreement to buy their own way. If you don't understand equality, and clearly you don't, then read it up on it before you make wild accusations about what entails special treatment

no 2nd date I hope. he isn't worth it

What a horrible little man. If my boyfriend ever pulled that stunt with me I'd have told him to get lost. Going Dutch is great, discussing who's paying and coming to a decision for one person to pay for both is fine. But to just rudely expect and demand to be paid in by your date is disrespectful. I hope you gave him a good right hook after =]

If he's your boyfriend, you know you're getting it back sometime. If it's a first date, it's kind of unforgivable.

YDI if you actually paid for his ticket. You should have just said "No, only ONE," and let him get his own ticket or leave.
