I will never understand why others don't take notice of the other people around them. If you have a cold no one wants to listen to continuous sniffing ect. Also where do you work that allows people to sing while working? That would drive me up a wall especially in a quite office setting. I swear some people truly believe they are the only person on the planet.
One word: headphones.
I think you should maybe tell her to stop
Maybe her true talent is snorting! You should tell her to try out for America's Got Talent, the show with no American judges.
Really? The coworker to me sounds flat out obnoxious. That would get really old, especially in an environment where you are supposed to be working..
YDI, Karma for being a douchebag.....talent is very subjective. You probably don't have a trained ear. I have bad asthma and sometimes have a flare up where my lungs keep filling with fluid and nose gets stuffy. I WISH some asshole would confront me about a lifelong condition that doesn't go away. You think she likes being sick? She probably picked up on your negative feelings and may even be enacting her own Karma. I love it. Even better, she can settle it outside of work if need be......fights during company time affect a job, but not outside of that time.
Who hurt you?
You don't need a 'trained ear' to know when someone is an awful singer.
Try telling her that you are having a hard time telling the difference between her singing and her snorting. I would call that a strong hint.
Tell her that her singing has gotten better the next time this happens it worked for me
