At least you have a job, be grateful. You will get a better on soon. And its your fault if you majored in something like Philosophy, English lit.
Okay, first of all, the OP is obviously not an English major (see the comma after "today" for proof), and secondly, there are a surprisingly large number of jobs open to English majors in a wide variety of fields. I might agree on Philosophy as an impractical major, but quit the English bashing. OP, that does suck. Hopefully you'll get a better job soon. Have to start somewhere, right?
let me guess, you majored in english? psychology? be an engineer, otherwise college isnt even worth your time. better luck in your next life.
Look at all the FMLs. I thought it was customary to put a comma after the word "Today" in FMLs? Plus, thanks #70. I am majoring in English (and minoring in Political Science) because they interest me and I have a passion for those subjects. I wouldnt major in engineering just because I would make more money.
Shit happens. =[ Sorry to hear that though. Maybe when things clear up with the economy, you can find a better job.
You probably should have gone to college :s
Goodness, so many haters on here... OP, I understand your pain. I'm graduating next month after getting a degree in communication studies, another in journalism, and completing two internships. I also got a 3.7 GPA, studied abroad, and paid for it all through loans or the money I made working through high school / college. I'll be starting a job that pays me shit for 60-80 hours a week of work. Don't feel like it's your fault or that you're not motivated -- I feel you on how bad the job market is. At least we have jobs, I guess. I say work it until you can find something you enjoy better, but at least a hot dog stand would entail a lot of people-watching so you can get some good stories along the way. :)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up doing something like this with my new shiny Bachelor's degree, too.
At least you have a job.
