Damn, #27 and #29 beat me to it. #26, are you aboozi?
please tell me that you dont think people should just be beating down your door asking to hire you just because you went to a prestigious university. i'm sorry, but the tone of your post sounds like you think you should have a good job just handed to you.
Welcome to 2009, you don't just get handed a job cause you graduated.
#23, that is presumptuous. I followed my own interests and paid my own way for a degree in Ancient Civilizations instead of something easy or practical. I was fortunate to be able to go back for a master's in library science so I can work with classical archives, but still. OP, this is not a FYL or YDI. You found a job. You got the job. You might deserve it for not getting a better internship, or grades, etc., but you have an easy way to make money while you look for something better.
Ah, the classic philosophy degree from ol' Community College... and THIS is why I'm in business school...
I work in the IT field, and sometimes I feel like that the past seven years of my life was a complete waste.
Grats on getting a useless degree. Try studying something thats worth it next time.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up doing something like this with my new shiny Bachelor's degree, too.
At least you have a job.
