Today, we had a NAT for our preparation for college. I did quite well and knew most of the answers. When I turned mine in, I realised I forgot to write my name. The proctor doesn't allow giving back test papers after it is turned in. And no, I can't retake it. FML

how do you forget to write your name on it? if its anything like it is here, the instructor tells you like 15 times to write your name and fill everything out.

Maybe, since they have no record of you taking the test, you can talke it again.

Guess college isn't for you, after all.

Wait i'm pretty sure that when in testing the VERY first thing they tell you, other than when to start, is to clearly print you name on the paper.... This is strange if you somehow missed that

YDI. The first thing you do is put your name on a test.

.... tell the exam invigilator you forgot to put your name on and they will do it for you, its nor hard... I swear a LOT of people on here lack common sense...

YDI! Thats always the first thing you are supposed to do. Did you not look at it before you turned it in? If you did you should have put your name on it. If you didn't look at it how do you know you didn't write your name?

what are you even doing out of the kitchen?

isn't it common sense to write your name before you take any test this obviously means college is not meant for you try something else there's plenty of jobs that don't require college degrees

Surely, if you'd told him you forgot to write your name, and asked to find the paper and have HIM write your name on it, so that he knew you weren't cheating and adding an answer, it would have been fine?

Good luck in college if you can't do something as simple as put your name on the placement test. College grades are based largely upon exams and you can't take those back either. Perhaps it is best you just save the ridiculous amount of money that college costs

for future reference: using acronyms specific to your country in an international forum like this is not a good idea. Of course given the context we can guess what sort of thing a NAT is, but a lot of people prob don't know exactly what. also for future reference: writing your name on the test should be the very first thing you do.
