Today, we had a NAT for our preparation for college. I did quite well and knew most of the answers. When I turned mine in, I realised I forgot to write my name. The proctor doesn't allow giving back test papers after it is turned in. And no, I can't retake it. FML

how do you forget to write your name on it? if its anything like it is here, the instructor tells you like 15 times to write your name and fill everything out.

Maybe, since they have no record of you taking the test, you can talke it again.

If you didn't put your name nobody knows you were there, so you never took it in the first place,

If you're wanting to go to college, you gotta learn to write your name first thing on your papers

a good habit to get into. since elementary.

Isn't that the first thing you're supposed to do on a proctored test?

Yeah I get it was a stupid mistake but geez give OP a break. I mean has no one here ever forgot anything simple and obvious before? Hell how many of you mix up your kids names (which you gave them) or forgot why you walked in a room? Seriously it sucks OP but everyone makes mistakes.

Wouldn't the proctor tell you quite often to write your name down while reading the class the test instructions?

Why isn't writing your name not the first thing you do on a test???????

Wow. I work as a test proctor and we will allow you to write your name in front of us since it happens more often than you think. Thankfully, my college has a cheating policy every tester has to sign with the students name clearly labeled.
