I'm missing the FML here -- the easy break-up is one of life's little kisses. It dated a girl for three years and the last one was a real slog, but I didn't have the heart to dump her. When she dumped me, I was thrilled! No tears and a weight lifted off of my chest! Did the OP want her bf to burst into tears and faint like that pantywaste from yesterday?

These complaints about what boyfriends say during a breakup speech remind me of a (thank God) ex who always broke up with me matter-of-factly, then after I said "OK" started an emotional argument about why she was doing this, then after I said I would keep that in mind for future reference, she would agree to get back together. I finally just walked out before she could get that far.

I've noticed the girls that use "they need space and time to think" as grounds for breaking up are the ones that take less than a month, often much less, to wind up in a relationship with someone else. Having seen so many dudes fed that bullshit, and been told that myself, I'm pretty much convinced that's the default excuse for girls with no spine that can't outright admit they're getting the hots for someone else but aren't so low to be willing to cheat.

I love it when a dude/girl breaks up with someone and the heartbroken person says something even worse..LOL
