That sucks
I work at a grocery store with automatic doors, and if they don't open you can just push/pull them open. It won't break the door and I think the employees would understand. (You can also do that with the "do not enter" automatic doors. I go in our one-way "exit" doors at work every day just by tugging on them). Good luck OP!
I just had an idea: Maybe carry an umbrella with you, you know, a collapsible one that you can fit in your backpack, with which you surely will get a door open. Either wave it above your head for the motion detector to catch on, or pull it to full length and wave it, or just open it up, which should trigger the door in any case. Sorry that you have to endure this.
I though you were gunna say you were ginger! Take inspiration from the greatest dwarf ever, Tyrion Lannister, and be a lion my friend!
That sucks, but I smiled when I read this. I am a terrible person lol
I sometimes have this problem hahaha and I'm 165cm 🤷🏽♀️
