:-(.
um, i know it sucks to not go to a school where your friends will be, but hey, thats what a new beginning is for. not all high school friendships last forever. plus, college isnt really about going where your friends go.
Dude your from Minnesota?? Lol that's where my math teacher went to school!
cambridge is in england, its a university, a real one, community college is some random american thing that may/may not be a real college/university in britain colleges offer much lower academic qualifications and more practical based qualifications and apprenticeships.....
Community colleges are "real" colleges, they're just cheaper and you can't get as good of a degree at one, you need to transfer later if you want a BA or higher. The colleges that aren't "real" are scam ones that don't give actual credits and are misleading about that fact, but they certainly aren't community colleges. I'm sure the UK has an equivalent, some kind of Junior college, or at least a crappier college to go to in the meantime so the OP can get their marks up and apply for transfer later. Besides, your undergraduate school doesn't matter so much. What impresses people is the school where you get your higher degrees, like your Masters or PhD.
Nope, degrees from all UK universities are (in theory) equal. Though employers obviously don't treat them that way. As for transferring from one Uni to another based on good performance, I'm virtually certain that doesn't happen in the UK, and if it does then Cambridge isn't going to take part.
if you can't get a BA at community college then its in no way the same thing as an english university, a BA is the minimum you'll get at a uni colleges offer Higher National Certificates and Higher National Degrees and such, and are the only other form of higher education.... but unless OP was an idiot and only applied to one university they should still be able to go to a University offering BAs and above....
Well you have no one else to blame except yourself
College schmollege. College is for squares! Who needs it?
umm this is a university in England not a school....

It's no disgrace to be rejected from Cambridge, that is, if you are talking about the world-class university. If you are talking about the Cambridge School of Dental Floss Recycling, then, yeah, FYL you are an idiot.
That sucks. But it's also an opportunity to make new friends. And if you really want to you can keep in touch with your current friends. It'll take some effort, but it's possible. As for Cambridge; I don't know why you got rejected, but if your grades weren't good enough then well.. it's not for everybody.
