Today, while at a party, Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" started playing. For being the only one who didn't know the lyrics, I had beer thrown on me, my shirt stolen, and I was locked outside for half an hour. It's below freezing. FML

Today, I was at a karaoke bar. After a few drinks, I gave it a go. Halfway through “Total Eclipse of the Heart” I got so into it, I knocked over the mic stand. The mic flew off, hit the DJ, who then hit the emergency stop button, cutting off the music. I froze as the bar erupted into laughter. I did get a free Coke for my “performance,” which was something. FML

so you are at a party, how exactly did they figure out that you didn't know the lyrics? did they demand that you recite it with them? kinda bullshit at a party to do that. I'm not a music buff but I know a few verses.

What the hell?! No OP, you do not deserve it, no matter what almost everybody here's saying. Pretty asshole-y of them to throw you out in the freezing cold just for a DAMN SONG. Your friends should grow up. And just for the record, I know this song; it isn't as epic as everyone's saying it is. Must be an American thing though. *shrug*

I had to go on youtube to check out what that song is... and its a piece of shit. Simply horrible. There is something seriously wrong with your friends if they know it by heart. Get some new friends. And for all those who think everyone should know this song... wtf people - just wtf!?

I've come to the conclusion that this site can double up as a Journey fansite. It's honestly very sad to see how badly these kids treat you over you not knowing the lyrics to a freaking song. It's not like you weren't able to recite God Saves The Queen. Everyone who says that you deserve what happened to you should chill the **** out.
