lol'd hard at 196's ignorance here: "Dude, are you freaking joking? Asians have ten times the brainpower, thirty times the wit. You don't want to mess with them. And you wonder why the world hates Americans." And I'm Chinese too hahaha
If you're assuming they don't speak English very well, just talk clearly and articulately using standard English. No need to insult them by treating them like little children.
#21- HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH made my day. and yes, I totally agree with #10...think before you act, please.
LMAO! This one is great! :D
i've never read a post that deserved a YDI more than this one.
"and, by the way, he made a honest mistake. if you're going to say something along the lines of "you asshole, go die, not every asian speaks this way, you're racist, you're Republican (which by the way makes no sense, Democrats are the historically racially-intolerant party), you're an idiot for lumping all asians together.." Why were the asians all standing together? Its not like he's the only one guilty of prejudice, the asians willingly grouped with only other asians (assuming they were all around the same age and not a family). They're just as guilty as racial discrimination as he would be for accidentally assuming they were foreigners. Back off, assholes." Lol at you tsax421 (#49). Asians are racist just because they stick together? I bet that you're not a minority. Do you even know what it's like being an Asian in America? Everywhere there are people that don't understand their culture. Asian-Americans have it both better and worse. They aren't as connected to their ancestral Asian cultures and their culture becomes American culture. But unfortunately, although beneath the skin they are every bit the same as their white, black, and Hispanic counterparts, they are perpetually displayed as a foreigner even though they're not. In some ways, that's worse than what Asian immigrants have to experience. Asian-Americans are in a way, rejected from their own culture, American culture. So what can they do? Stick with the Americans of other ethnicities who create this barrier? No, of course not. Hang out with Asian immigrants? How? Asian immigrants with their Asian culture are not very compatible with Asian-Americans and their American culture. Who's left? Other Asian-Americans. People who feel the same pain are sure to understand each other. Now don't get me wrong;Definitely not all Americans of other ethnicities create discriminatory barriers like these, but there's never a guarantee with idiots like the original poster (#1) out there.
*sigh* I've always thought most American's were ignorant. you just proved me right.
HAHAHAH i love this.
