Today, while at work being a waitress, this lady came in and requested to sit in the section I was waitressing. She held up a $100 bill and told me that if I was attentive to her needs, she would leave me a $100 tip. Excited, I waited on her hand and foot. She dined and dashed. FML

This is OP. I would just like to say that, it wasn't the fact that I didn't get the tip that she promised that made me sad. It was the fact that, I had the cost of her meal, deducted from my cheque that made me sad..

And that's how you can get better service at a restaurant/fast-food.

Fyl for real. That's a shitty move though. Next time rub their food in your ass crack

That seriously sucks...but you gotta admire her cleverness. Or not.

That's why bounty hunters should be legal

the sad part is, those inconsiderate people who do this probably think they are smart and will continue to do this. Ive dealt with people from different cultures that are not accustomed to tipping, but this is much worse because it's just disrespectful.

wait... if you were waiting on her hand and foot... how would she have been able to dash?

Maybe she was related to the one who promised that his date wouldn't have to pay and kept his promise by dining and dashing. But seriously FYL op

First off, any "customer" trying to buy a servant would tip me off that somethings not right. Second, if the place was crowded and this lady bought her way to the head of the line, you potentially pissed off people who waited a long time. You let the hope of a big tip get in the way of better judgment and it cost you..YDI big time!

Hmm if you were really that attentive you would have caught her before its too late. Not sooooooo good at service, are you??

Um, it's really not that easy to catch someone making a run for it. I'd like to see you do a better job.
