YDI TBH
What goes around comes around
I understand as a parent you are worried about what your son has, but has he ever done anything and has made you not be able to trust him? It's your own fault because you didn't trust him
If you were snooping, you deserve it. Privacy is for everyone.
Sorry OP but YDI. And it's just glitter it will come off eventually.
Sure the glitter will come off but the damage to the relationship with her son is in jeopardy. I would apologize and promise not to invade his privacy and promise to talk to him first before you do anything next time.
Ever heard of privacy?
I've never hit YDI so fast before.
I wish I'd thought of that when I was a kid
Just because he's your kid doesn't mean you can snoop around his belongings, especially sealed envelopes. I get you could've been looking out for him, but at least ask first. YDI.
You really deserved it for opening the envelope, OP. It was labelled "Private and Confidential". As his mother, you should respect his privacy. What bad thing could possibly be in the envelope?
Drugs
Could be a cheat sheet for an exam

It's really hard to feel sorry for you here when you opened an envelope that wasn't yours. Especially one that said "private and confidential" as a last chance warning. Totally deserved it.
This is the biggest YDI i have seen in awhile
