Today, while hanging out with this guy I'm interested in, we turned and made eye contact. We were face to face and I thought he was finally going to kiss me. He decided to lick my face from chin to forehead instead. FML

I don't get how licking is considered gross. It's just saliva which you would be sharing when kissing anyhow. It sounds like he really likes you, perhaps in a odd way. Maybe he really wanted to kiss you but was not sure if that was what you wanted so he did something random and licked you instead. I hope you asked him how you tasted after.
