"cops are just doing their job", yeah sure #88. There is a fine line between doing their job and total abuse of power. It would seem the latter is more prevalent. The get the respect they earn - none. Why would you leave anything open to theft anywhere??, especially in a cop station, a collection place for criminals, bent cops, corrupt lawyers and just maybe a few honest cops.

#117 Maybe it seems that way to YOU. But cops have to be in charge of the situation. They can't let the suspect run the confrontation, whatever it may be (traffic stop, etc.). Being in charge of the situation does not equal abuse of power.
