cristina_laila tells us more.
I saw a man wearing a bike helmet, flailing his arms and following the little girls around. I kept jogging and saw a woman sitting on a park bench texting. She was completely out of site of the girls. I kindly asked her if she was their mother. When she replied 'yes', I told her that I saw a man talking to her daughters and that he looked like a weirdo...that's when she told me that the 'weirdo' was her disabled brother. I apologized to her and took off. I'm not a judgmental person; I was acting on my instincts as a woman to protect these young girls. Believe me, I'm mortified!!!

Mamma always said "people will try to judge you... Try not to do the same"
Better to act than ignore it and someone molest them. I would be grateful if I was that mum
The mom was offended because nothing bad happens within families? The word "incest" exists and is widely known because that shit happens with disturbing frequency. What's the word for sex with a toaster? Either there isn't one or it's very obscure. That's because such a thing is extremely rare and not as much fun as one might think. According to a friend of mine, that is ;)
How the hell were you to know that he was acting weird because he was disabled, and not because he was clumsy pedophile?
Better safe than sorry. I would have phrased it differently, because, as you found out the hard way, calling people "weirdo" can bite you in the butt!
Better to be safe then sorry

Dont feel bad, you had good intentions. :)
I mean, your intentions were pure. I'd rather that you help prevent a situation than you allowing something to happen.
